REFUND POLICY

A1 Wireless Live Scan Fingerprinting

At A1 Wireless Live Scan, we strive to provide fast, accurate, and reliable Live Scan fingerprinting services in California. Please review our refund policy carefully before completing your Live Scan appointment.

When Refunds Are Issued

Refunds may be approved under the following conditions:

  • Duplicate payment was made (online and in-store)

  • Service was not provided due to office closure (e.g., severe weather)

Non-Refundable Situations

All Live Scan services are non-refundable under the following conditions:

  • Incorrect ORI number or application details provided by the applicant

  • Fingerprints rejected or delayed by the California Department of Justice (DOJ) or FBI

  • Failure to appear for scheduled appointment

  • Services already completed

Once fingerprints are submitted to the DOJ or FBI, all fees become non-refundable.

Live Scan Re-Submission Policy

If your fingerprints are rejected:

  • We offer free re-submission of fingerprints (rolling fee waived)

  • DOJ/FBI fees may be waived when applicable

  • Travel fees may apply for mobile Live Scan services

Mobile Live Scan & Notary Services

  • Mobile service deposits are non-refundable

  • Additional charges may apply for distance, after-hours, or holidays

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover

Pricing varies based on:

  • Requesting agency

  • Type of Live Scan application

  • Level of background check required

Processing & Responsibility Disclaimer

A1 Wireless Live Scan is not responsible for:

  • Delays from DOJ, FBI, or requesting agencies

  • Background check results or application approvals

Live Scan Status Check

(Important – Read Before Contacting Us)

Once your fingerprints have been submitted, A1 Wireless Live Scan does not have access to your results or processing status.

A1 Wireless Live Scan results are processed directly by the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

How to Check Your Live Scan Status

You can check your status online through the official DOJ website:

You will need:

  • Your Date of Birth (DOB)

  • Your ATI Number (10-digit number at the bottom of your Live Scan form)

Contact Your Requesting Agency

In many cases, your results are sent directly to your employer or licensing agency.

👉 You must contact your requesting agency listed on your Live Scan form for updates.

Processing Time Disclaimer

  • Most results are processed within 3–7 business days, but may take longer

  • Delays may occur due to:

    • DOJ/FBI processing times

    • Background review requirements

    • High application volume

A1 Wireless Live Scan cannot speed up, access, or influence this process.

Important Notice Regarding Payments & Claims

By completing your Live Scan service, you acknowledge:

  • Services are fully rendered once fingerprints are submitted

  • Processing is handled by government agencies (DOJ/FBI)

  • Delays or status issues are not grounds for refunds or chargebacks

Filing a chargeback for a completed Live Scan service may be considered fraudulent and will be disputed with proof of service.

How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request:

💳 Refunds are issued to the original payment method
