To get a Live Scan, you will need to provide a Request for Live Scan Form, an acceptable form of ID, and a form of payment. You can find Live Scan locations in your area by searching online or contacting your local law enforcement agency.

The cost of a Live Scan varies depending on the location and the type of background check you are requesting. Government fees are required for the State (DOJ) and Federal (FBI) level criminal history record checks. Additional fees may also be required (e.g., license or certification fees).
